Mozilla Firefox 3 - Over 8 million Downloads

Wow!!!i was so surprised to see this!!I really didnt expect firefox to get so many downloads.So i think its pretty clear that they would get the world record.I guess it would be official only after a few weeks.Firefox initially wanted to set a 5 million record which i believe was covered immediately without any trouble.So 8 million is a bonus. 8.3 million to be precise.People say that it could have been a lot more better if only the firefox vulnerability was not found within 5 hours of its release and also because they had some server problems in the beginning which delayed the launch.This 8 million download has improved firefox's browser market share by around 3% which could rise up to 6% soon ..
