MTNL launches 3G service In India

Its finally there!!After loads of phones coming in with the 3G feature and no 3G service to use.I guess its finally making sense . MTNL launched the 3G service named "Jadoo" 2 days ago . The service inaugurated by our Prime Ministrer Mr Manmohan Singh . Although the prices for the 3G service are not out yet . MTNL is providing free 3G service for the first 2 months.So all MTNL users in Delhi can expect wireless internet speeds via 3G for 2 months for FREE.The speeds will vary from 34kbps to 2mbps . Soon BSNL would be launching their 3G service in Chennai.

I guess this 3G service would be a huge breakthrough and a great advancement in technology for India . It was something that was missing in India . With almost everybody carrying a cell phone and always on the move . The 3G service would definetly be of much use like for High speed internet , data transfer,video streaming , mobile TV etc etc etc...

The only question is how affordable its going to be . I guess only time will tell!!
