Google Maps for Vacations

Google maps as you all know is a very popular service of google . It has been pretty advanced and up to date i must say . It has covered almost every part of this world in full detail . Google maps can be very effective in a lot of ways . So here's how you could use google maps :

I recently went for vacation to a place where i didnt know how to get to , it was pretty difficult to get there as its not a direct route . Thats where google maps came to the rescue . In google maps all you need to do is enter the start point and end point and voila , you get precise directions . This can be really helpful if your planning on driving to that place .

Here's an example : I'm planning on a trip to hyderabad and i have no idea how to get there . Believe me , directions given on the road are not always enough , you could still get lost sometimes.So here's how i get directions :

Step 1 : Go to Google Maps

Step 2 : Click on Get Directions
Step 3 : Now enter Point A and Point B


Step 4 : Now click on Get Directions

Step 5 : Now to your left , you should see detailed directions

Step 6 : You can even click on the Print Button and print those directions ( REALLY HELPFUL )

Step 7 : If you look at these directions , you would notice , it is in so much detail . Each step has information as to where you have to turn , on which road you will be in , for how long you will be in that road and the distance of that road. This can be very helpful as you will have an idea as to when you have to take the next turn so you wont miss them , when you drive at a high speed on highways!!

Step 8 : There is also an option to Include A Map for each step , just like the screenshot shown below

Step 9 : And all this can be printed out , by just clicking on the Print Button

Step 10 : I have found this service very useful when going on vacations . This can be very helpful even in our day to day lives incase we need to reach some other part of our city where we have no idea about . You will get similar driving directions as shown above.

PS : You even get walking directions to a particular place . Only takes 4 days and 20 hours to reach hyderabad if you walk :) interesting!!!
