Recover Your Google Account Password Via Text Message

This feature has been on for quite a while and i recommend everybody who uses gmail to use this feature . Google has this cool feature where in if you dont remember your gmail id's password or your google account's password you can easily recover it using your mobile phone .

It is very much possible for us to forget our passwords at times especially if its been a while since we have accessed it . So its always safe to have multiple password recovery options . YOu may not be using a secondary email address at all , so in that case password recovery via text message becomes very important . So here's how you configure it :

Step 1 : Go to the GOOGLE ACCOUNTS page and Login
Step 2 : Now you should see a similar page . Click on Change Password Recovery Options

Step 3 : Now click on Add a mobile phone number

Step 4 : Now choose your country and enter your mobile number and click on SAVE

Step 5 : Thats it , next time you want to recover your password , just head to THIS PAGE and enter your email address and you will get your password via text message.
