nautilus freezes while browsing through music or other media files in ubuntu

If you are experiencing problems while browsing through a list of media files especially mp3,avi etc etc. When i mean problems i mean either your nautilus or computer totally freezes or some delay in launching the media file or any similar problem.
The solution to this is quite simple.Go to Places->Computer . The nautilus file browser would launch.Then click on Edit->Preferences and click on the Preview Tab . Under Sound Files you will find a "Preview Sound Files:" Option..Change that to "Never" as shown below in the screenshot
