The Next Windows - Windows 7 to arrive next year

Heard a few days back that the next windows - windows 7 would arrive some time in the end of next year.I believe microsoft this time said "Dont Worry, you can trust us with the security" , hmm.. what makes them say that :D !!..Well i just hope they dont make a fool of themselves, vista was totally criticized by almost everyone on the internet, the lack of compatibility with programs etc in such an advanced OS in the 21st century is such a SHAME...
I also hope they keep in mind the system requirements , i mean vista was a memory hogg, even the PRICE.. 400$ for an 0S.. man !!!You could buy another pc with that price!!
From what i can see Windows XP was one of the best OS' of Microsoft, it was definetly a huge improvement , the system requirements too were not that bad, but unfortunately it was a bit too vulnerable in the later stages, and required a lot of security.
I feel Microsoft has the potential, they are just not able to understand the requirements and are not balancing well their products!!
