Everyone awaits patiently when it comes to the launch of a google product. This time it was for Google Chrome.Launched a few weeks back, google chrome has indeed made an impact, getting a lot of attention from people all over the world.Google, known for its awesome creativity and ideas have proven it well in the case of chrome.I think chrome overall has been a wonderful browser.

VERY LIGHT, thats one thing i feel is very important for a browser to be.When it comes to opening a lot of windows and having them open for a long time, it is very important to ensure that your browser doesnt take up most of your memory.Firefox on the other hand has this memory handling problem.Opening up 30 to 40 windows could take up a lot of RAM whereas in the case of chrome , its far more better and lighter.
The migration part was smooth, Chrome very easily was able to import all the settings, bookmarks, visited pages, favourites etc from firefox or IE.Installation was a breezer, didnt take time at all . Getting chrome on your system shouldnt be an issue.

Chrome on the whole is very well designed in terms of looks, there is NO MENU BAR on top, saving a lot more space and giving more browsing space. The Browser on the whole is very simple if you notice,Its not all confusing , nothing difficult to find, very plain , very simple which i really like about chrome. The shortcuts too remain pretty much the same compared with other browsers.
The default page too rocks, I really like the MOST VISITED pages being displayed, a one click access to the most frequently visited pages which just enhance your browser experience.

Google has been very smart and has actually considered the user point of view while making this browser, you can see that for yourself when you use it.Even when it comes to installing addons and stuff , even installing flash, java etc is pretty simple. You would find a box saying Plugin required , and once you click on it , chrome would automatically start downloadin the plugin and installing it.Unlike other browsers where they redirect you to the adobe flash website making you manually install flash.
Another option is that you could choose the default search engine for your searches, chrome supports various search engines like google, yahoo, live search,AOL,Ask.

Another interesting and unique feature in chrome is the incognito which once opened(ctrl+shift+n) makes your browsing safe by not leaving behind any cookie or history or any other traces.

Almost everybody uses Google Search and chrome has come up with this feature which helps you do a google search in the address bar itself. All you need to do is press TAB and enter the search string.Chrome would automatically take you to the search results page.

The menu options on the right are pretty similar to that of firefox.Very easy to navigate and find stuff. In terms of speed , i dont find any major difference when a page loads, i think it takes the standard amount of time to load.Good enough for me!!
Although Chrome comes with many such wonderful features, it does lack a few basic important things, atleast for me.Firstly it doesnt have any way to SAVE YOUR SESSION unlike firefox which has that option which is very useful to me.Another thing about chrome is that if you have multiple tabs open in one window and you close the window by mistake, you loose all the open tabs , everything just closes WITHOUT ANY WARNING, which i just hate!!A temporary solution to saving your session is by going to Settings->Options and under BASICS to select "Restore the pages that were open last".Although this isnt a neat solution as if you have multiple windows open, it would only restore the last window closed.

Finding a text also aint that great. You dont get a choice to get better search results .When you press ctrl+F all you see is a window to enter the search text.

On the whole Chrome is a really good browser very light and very easy to use although at the same time it does lack some basic features which i really wished it had by default.Hopefully future version of chrome would have all this making it the most desired browser.
