Google Launches SMS Search In India

Google Very Recently Launched Google SMS in India.Google SMS is basically Google Search via SMS.The main purpose of this , is when your " on the go " and you suddenly need to search for something.Also because its via SMS , every mobile phone can use this feature, unlike the usual way via internet or GPRS.So right from cricket scores to restarurant information to train schedules etc you name it and google SMS would help you.Here are some of its most common uses :

1)Cricket Scores - Eg : Cricket india
2)Railway PNR Status - Eg : 6839239961 (10 digit PNR no)
3)Train Schedule - Eg : Trains bangalore to delhi
4)Movie Timings - Eg : Quantum of solace bangalore
5)Currency Conversion Eg : 100 USD in INR
6)Local Search - Eg : Pizza bangalore

Some of the search features are really cool.Like Railway PNR, movie schedule etc . But for others, i feel its just time consuming, to actually type in the string and wait for SMS.In such cases I think JustDial rocks, i mean you just call them and they will IMMEDIATELY give you the phone number of any place or any other information.
