LaunchU3.exe - Another Virus To Stay Away From!!

Viruses are all around , especially in removable drives like pen drives . Pen drives have become one of the major sources or carriers of viruses . Most of the dangerous , harmful viruses are spread through pen drives.Not so long ago i had told you about DriveProtect.exe which again is a major viruses which does a lot of harm to a computer and is mostly transmitted via pen drives . Now there is another similar virus under the name LaunchU3.exe
I've seen these in a few pen drives already , so i guess it is fast spreading . Although it isn't that harmful compared to other viruses which pass through pen drives.LaunchU3.exe is not a windows core file . There is no much description available about it on the internet.So if you see this program running as a process in your Task Manager then you must ensure that it is removed . One of the ways through which this virus is transmitted is through pen drives , so be careful while opening pen drives . Ensure that you have Disabled Auto Run . This is a major advantage as viruses dont get a chance to run automatically . Update your antivirus software they should be able to detect it.
