This has happened to me a lot of times and i'm sure its happen to you as well . Many a times in a hurry you've either sent a mail which you later thought wasn't required or you forgot to add this one sentence for which you are again too lazy to send another email or you forgot to attach a file which you were supposed to attach with the email . These things happen all the time , but this time Google labs has an interesting solution to it . In most cases everybody realizes the fact that they forgot to add something to the email immediately after sending the email , therefore you get an option saying UNDO which would then undo what blunder you just did :) and then give you a chance to edit your email . So here's how you get this feature running in Gmail :
This again is a Google Labs Feature . So here's what you do :
Step 1 : Login to Gmail and on the top right click on Settings
Step 2 : Then click on LABS
Step 3 : Then Look for the 'Undo Send' feature and click on ENABLE
Step 4 : Then click on Save Changes which is at the bottom
Step 5 : Thats it your ready to go , next time you send an email , you will get an option like this.
