There has been a recent issue regarding google search and some other google services which dont seem to be accessible especially from people in the USA using opendns servers . Well the real reason for this is still unknown , but there is a fix for this at the moment . Special thanks to wadesmart for providing the fix and sharing it with us . So here's how you do it :
Step 1 : Login to your opendns account and Go to your Opendns Dashboard , if you dont have an account in opendns , then create one
Step 2 : Then go to Settings ( in the Dashboard )
Step 3 : Then click on Advanced Settings ( left menu )
Step 4 : Scroll down to Network Shortcuts
Step 5 : Uncheck: enable OpenDNS proxy and click on Apply
Now wait for about five minutes for this to take effect . You should now be able to access google. If you still have problems then just switch to your ISP's DNS servers temporarily.
