How to Fix VNC error - Page does not refresh - in Ubuntu 9.04

Ubuntu 9.04 has been released and there have been quite a few bugs since then. Nothing new , this happens all the time after a new release . Some really useful application which worked perfectly well during the previous versions could stop functioning , well thats exactly what happened with vnc in ubuntu 9.04 . VNC does not seem to refresh itself in ubuntu 9.04 therefore making it difficult to remote control another machine . So here's how you fix it :

There are currently two workarounds, no exact FIX as such . It's still a confirmed bug in ubuntu 9.04 . Here are the workarounds

1)Use the -noxdamage argument with vncviewer . Although this can use a lot of bandwidth as the whole screen needs to be refreshed

2)Disable Compiz fusion . This seems to fix the issue completely.
