Procedure To Change Your BSNL Broadband Plan

A lot of people ask me how to go about changing their BSNL broadband plans including queries like when will it take effect and stuff like that . So this tutorial will deal with all the necessary things you need to know/do to change your BSNL Broadband plan.



You need to first write a letter and submit it to the nearest customer care center . Here's a sample letter , you just need to replace XXXX with the right information

Subject : Change of BSNL Broadband plan from XXXX to XXXX for Tel : xxxxxxxx

I have been using BSNL Broadband Service for many years . I would like to switch over my existing plan which is XXXX to XXXX .My username is XXXX and my consumer number is XXXX . I request you to do the needful at the earliest.

NOTES:
1)Consumer number is mentioned in your telephone bill . It is required.
2)Just incase take a copy of your previous telephone bill
3)If you want your plan to be changed for June , then make sure you submit it atleast one week before june , i.e. by the last week of MAY
4)Plan should take effect by the first week of June
5)Confirm plan change with various sources , this is VERY IMPORTANT as you dont want to end up with a HUGE BILL.

b)Dial 1500 and ask
c)Dial 18004241600 and ask
d)Visit nearest Customer care and ask ( not necessary if a,b and c tell the same thing)
