Dropbox Makes Few Changes - LANSync To Be Added

I recently got an email from dropbox telling me about a few changes they are planning to make . I have always been a fan of dropbox and it has helped a lot since quite a while . It really speeds up the process when it comes to sharing files , backing up files etc.Here are a few improvements that i am so excited about :

Dropbox has mentioned a few improvements like an iphone app for dropbox so you can access your dropbox files on an iphone . ALso the UNDO History feature will be limited , now dropbox will only keep your files for 30 days after you delete them , so you can undo them only within this time . I guess its understandable as dropbox is becoming really popular now and the 30 day period is really good enough.

Now apart from the improvements mentioned above , the biggest feature according to me which i have been waiting for is the LANSync feature which dropbox finally promises to add SOON . The LANSync feature can be really useful if you have dropbox on multiple computers in your LAN . I use dropbox on most of my machines on my network and i find it so easy to use dropbox to sync files with other people over the internet and i always hoped that dropbox had a LANSync feature so i could sync files with my LAN machines at a much faster speed without the file going to the dropbox server . This can be very helpful for a lot of people i feel as having a LANSync app which works crossplatform is simply fantastic . I dont think there are many services or softwares which does this .

So i really hope that this features comes out soon and works flawlessly!!
