Well Google Chrome has made an impact and many users have started using it.I wrote about chrome a few days back and i must say it looks promising with some really unique features but does lack some basic features as well.So for Linux (ubuntu) users chrome can be used by downloading chromium which is based on google chrome.Here's how you get google chrome In Ubuntu
Step 1 : Go to your Terminal(Applications->Accessories->Terminal) and type in the following
Step 2 : First you need to download chromium by typing wget http://media.codeweavers.com/pub/crossover/chromium/cxchromium_0.9.0-1_i386.deb
Step 3 : Now install the package by typing sudo dpkg -i cxchromium_0.9.0-1_i386.deb
Step 4 : Chrome should now begin to install
Step 5 : You can now Start using chrome by going to Applications->CrossOver Chromium->Chromium

I've the same problem on my Ubuntu 10 Lucid linx
well, you no longer need chromium as google now officially has their own LINUX version just go to www.google.com/chrome
